Lemonade license

A 7-year-old's lemonade stand was shut down by two health inspectors at a Portland, Oregon arts fair this week. She was cited for vending without a license.

They threatened the little girl with a $500 fine, and she left in tears. Other vendors rallied around the girl.

A county official quickly stepped in and apologized to the girl and her mother. He said the rules are meant for professional food service operators. And he had a lemonade stand once.
